On August 07th The guys traveled to San Diego for a Padres game provided by one of the brothers. Alumni and CSU Northridge came as well, and even the Padres won to the Cubs!

The guys went to BLTW in Indiana and got some great help for the next year! We met some fantastic people and will be coming back next year! This trip got us pumped for what lies ahead.

Sigma Chi - Sigma competed in the first annual Row 4 (Your Cause) event hosted by the rowing club at CSULB. Proceeds went to children's miracle network. We won and look forward to next years event!

On April 14, The Los Angeles Alumni hosted a get together BBQ with alumni and parents. The event was well attended and we had a great time!

Lambda Theta Phi "Thanksgiving Outreach"

In collaboration with Cultural Fraternity Lambda Theta Phi, Sigma Chi passed out thanksgiving meals to needy families throughout the LA area. Sigma Chi had a total of 3 drivers with 3 families each. Therefore the total of families helped were 9. Not only did Sigma Chi help out to deliver thanksgiving meals we also sponsored one family by donating a $60. Gene our adviser not only sponsored some families but he also applied for some families that received meals.
Delta Zeta "Turtle Bowl"

Flag Competition in which all csulb fraternities competed in order to earn trophy. Relationship with coaches was awesome. We first competed against pi kappa phi, former champions. Our second opponent was Phi Kappa Psi. During the tournament we had a very supportive coaches that cheered on us. Also there was a taco man and later pizza. Our coaches provide our team with oranges and bagels. It was fun and we are ready to come back strong next Turtle Bowl tournament.
Delta Delta Delta Philanthropy Week
November 14-18, 2011
A week long competition involving all the csulb fraternities. All benefit going to St. Judes Hospital. The winner of the week would receive a trophy. Sigma Chi placed first in the week and earned the trophy.
Sat Brunch Community Service/LB Crew Tournament

In collaboration with The leos club in Los Angeles we cooked pancakes and sausage for the hungry crew competitors.

Long Beach Marathon

Organizations on campus supported Long Beach Marathon runners by creating signs to cheer along path. We stood by the Soroptomist house,held signs, and cheered on the runners.

Sigma Chi - Sigma Colony Padres Game
On July 14th The guys traveled to San Diego for a Padres game provided by one of the brothers. Alumni came as well and even though the Padres lost to the Giants in the 12th it was a fantastic game.
Sigma Chi - Sigma Colony Camping Trip
On May 22 The guys traveled to San Onofre Camp grounds for a few day retreat and had a blast! The sun was out and the surf was good.

Greek Week - Can Castle
Another Greek Week event with Team 7 was Can Castle. Team 7's mascot was Ironman so we designed a figure of his mask! We donated 620 cans to Camp One Heartland which helps out kids with HIV/Aids.
Greek Week - Greek Sing
The first event for Greek Week this year was Greek Sing with Team 7 which consisted of Zeta Phi Ro, Delta Delta Delta, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Sigma Chi. We had a ton of fun practicing with them and plan to do it next year!
